A-Z Guide to Robin Roberts Stadium:
Alcohol Management:
Per Illinois Law, alcohol will not be served to anyone under the age of 21. The Springfield Lucky Horseshoes will require ID verification from fans confirming their age, and have the right to refuse service. All Alcohol sales will stop at the end of the seventh inning.
Bags/Backpacks:
Fans are allowed to bring ONE bag that does not exceed 12”x6”x12” that is made of clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC material. Alternatively, fans may bring in a one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (ex. Ziploc bag or similar). Outside food and beverages are prohibited with the exception of one sealed, clear water bottle that does not exceed 16 ounces.
Fans may also carry a small clutch bag or purse approximately the size of a hand, with, or without a handle or strap.
Cashless:
Robin Roberts Stadium is a cashless facility and a credit or debit card will be required for all purchases at the stadium.
Concession Stands:
Fans will be able to purchase hot food items such as hot dogs, hamburgers, etc. at the Concession Stand. Fans who are looking to purchase a Horseshoe at a Horseshoes game will be able to find that offering at the Home Plate stand.
Domestic beer offerings can be found at the home plate and third base concession stand as well. For fans looking to indulge in local craft beer, including the exclusive Lucky Lager and ‘Shoes on First, beers made just for the ‘Shoes, the Knob Hill Beer Garden down the first base line is the spot to be.
The Beer Garden will serve offerings from Buzzbomb, Hand of Fate, Anvil & Forge, and Springfield Beer Company.
In addition to the concession stands, fans will be able to find Mini Melts on the first base concourse.
All concession stands and kiosks will only accept credit & debit card.

Robin Roberts Stadium is located at 1415 N Grand Ave E in Springfield, Illinois.
Directions coming from I-55 S:
Take Exit 100B towards Sangamon Ave.
Turn left onto North Dirksen Rd. and continue South
After approximately one mile, turn right onto Ridge Ave
Continue on Ridge Road for approximately one mile, and the stadium will be on your right
Directions coming from I-55 N:
Take exit 98B towards East Clear Lake Ave.
Turn right onto North Dirksen Rd. and continue north
After approximately one mile, turn left onto Ridge Ave
Continue on ridge road for approximately one mile, and the stadium will be on your right
Directions coming from I-72 W:
Continue onto East Clear Lake Ave. once I-72W ends
Turn right onto North Dirksen Rd. and continue north

Emergency Evacuations Procedure:
If there is an emergency that requires an evacuation from the stadium, ‘Shoes staff members will assist fans and direct them towards the exit of the stadium in an orderly fashion. Fans may exit at any of the gates directly behind home plate and are asked to return to their vehicles and depart the parking lot. Fans can stay tuned to the ‘Shoes website and social media channels for further updates until an all-clear is announced.
Fighting:
Fighting will not be tolerated in any fashion and fans found to be engaged in such acts will be removed from the facility and/or prosecuted by the law.
Gates:
All gates will open 1 hour prior to first pitch.
Groups:
Groups are encouraged at Robin Roberts Stadium! All groups of 10 or more people qualify for a group ticket rate which includes a reduced price as well as a shoutout in the middle of the sixth inning. For group information, contact Jamie Toole at [email protected]
Guest Relations Booth:
Fans who have questions regarding anything at Robin Roberts Stadium are encouraged to visit our Guest Relations Booth in the concourse behind home plate. This is also where fans may be able to purchase a Game Day Program for all ‘Shoes games.
Handicapped Seating:
Robin Roberts Stadium has a very limited number of handicapped seating, and fans who are looking to purchase seats in a handicapped section are encouraged to contact Fun@ShoesBaseball.com. Handicapped seating is located adjacent from Row 1 of Section A and Section U.
Lost & Found:
A lost & found area will be hosted at the Guest Relations Booth located in the concourse behind home plate. All items found by ‘Shoes’ staff will be brought there and we encourage fans who find lost items to turn them in at the Guest Relations Booth.
Media:
Media requesting credentials or asking to be added to the ‘Shoes Media Press Release e-mail list can contact Andrew Miller at [email protected]. Media is allowed in the press box and in the camera wells located at the end of the dugouts.
Merchandise:
Fans are encouraged to visit the ‘Shoe Box to purchase all their merchandise needs. Located in the concourse behind home plate, the ‘Shoe Box is where you can get Lucky Horseshoes gear including hats, shirts, sweatshirts, novelties, and more! Check out your game day program for a special offer!
Office Hours:
In the offseason, the ‘Shoes front office is open from 9 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday.
During the Prospect League Season, the ‘Shoes front office is open from 10 AM through the end of the game on Monday through Friday and 11 AM through the end of the game on Saturday & Sunday. The main office is located in the building down the first base line at Robin Roberts Stadium.
Rainout Policy:
If a game is declared a rain-out and is not played, fans may exchange their tickets from that game to any future ‘Shoes game that season with the exception of July 3rd and July 4th. If a game is rained out after the calendar date of July 10th, fans may request a refund on their ticket purchase which may take 2-4 weeks following the season to process.
If a game is declared a suspended game and will be resumed at a later date, fans may use their tickets from that original game for entry at the make-up date that will be announced.
Re-entry:
There is a no re-entry policy at Robin Roberts Stadium. Once a fan exits the facility, they will need to purchase another ticket for re-entry into the stadium.
Restricted Areas:
Fans may not enter the playing surface at any time under any circumstance. Fans who do enter the playing field will be subject to prosecution and will be barred from all future games and events at Robin Roberts Stadium.
Restrooms:
There are four total restrooms at Robin Roberts Stadium. In the concourse down the first and third base line each are one designated Men’s and one designated Women’s restrooms for a total of four restrooms.
Refunds:
All Lucky Horseshoes ticket sales are final.
Smoking:
Under Springfield Parks District Policy, Robin Roberts Stadium is a smoke free facility. Fans who are found to be smoking will be ejected from the facility.
Weapons:
Under no circumstances are weapons allowed at Robin Roberts Stadium.
