The Lucky Horseshoes are looking for a qualified play by play announcer for the 2024 Prospect League Baseball season.
Our team will play a 60-game regular season schedule from late May through early August, with 30 home games at Robin Roberts Stadium in Springfield, Illinois.
We are looking for a lead play by play announcer to broadcast all of our Lucky Horseshoes home games both on internet radio & Prospect League TV.
Responsibilities:
● Broadcast all 'Shoes home games on PLTV and Mixlr.
● Set up equipment needed to broadcast and stream game prior to every Lucky Horseshoes home game.
● Availability for all 30 home Lucky Horseshoes Games
● Assist in game night operations of press box prior to & during all 'Shoes home games.
● Assist in production projects, including interviews and videos with 'Shoes players.
● Sell advertisements for radio broadcasts and segments
● Other duties as described.
Requirements:
● Basic understanding of production and media is preferred.

in Springfield, Illinois, is looking to hire a Food & Beverage Manager for the upcoming
2024 Prospect League Season.
Duties and responsibilities include:
● Serving as the liaison between the stadium with regards to food and beverage
● Planning food specials and working with management to create exciting dining
opportunities for fans
● Securing partnerships with local restaurants and/or food trucks to provide
expanded dining options
● Create menu and pricing for all game-day menus
● Develop and carry-out catering options for patrons in exclusive group areas
● Create exciting, unique dining options that have never before been seen at
sporting events

● Ensure group area catering is cooked, prepared, and served at the
appropriate time.
