The Springfield Lucky Horseshoes are delighted to welcome 2023 Ford C. Frick award winner Pat Hughes to the second annual ‘Shoes Hot Stove Social on Monday, January 29th!
Hughes has served as the voice of the Chicago Cubs since 1996 and has spent over 40 years broadcasting Major League Baseball games. The 68-year-old has announced more Cubs postseason games than anyone in franchise history and has called eight no-hitters throughout his career. Hughes was on the call when the Cubs won the 2016 World Series, their first championship in 108 years.
The legendary broadcaster will take part in a question and answer session along with talking about his career accomplishments and other stories and experiences. You’ll also get to hear all about the upcoming plans for Robin Roberts Stadium and the 2024 Springfield Lucky Horseshoes season.
The event will be hosted from 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM at Motorheads Bar & Grill located at 600 Toronto Road. Meet & Greet, photos, autographs, food, and non-alcoholic beverages are all included with each ticket. Tickets are on sale NOW at Tickets.ShoesBaseball.Com.
