The ‘Shoes are proud to welcome the heralded Kiwanis Club of Springfield – Downtown as the presenting partner for ‘Shoetoberfest.

‘Shoetoberfest, a family friendly Oktoberfest style event, will be held at Robin Roberts Stadium on Saturday, October 15th from 11 AM to 4 PM. The inaugural event includes a beer tasting featuring craft beers from Springfield and beyond, a lineup of local food trucks, inflatables, ability to play catch on the field, and more.

The Kiwanis Club of Springfield-Downtown is delighted to continue the club’s presence with the ‘Shoes and be involved in a local community event.

A representative from the organization, Jay Boulanger, remarked “The Kiwanis Club of Springfield-Downtown is excited to continue growing our relationship with the Lucky Horseshoes. Events like ‘Shoetoberfest are just one more way for us to carry out our mission of improving the world one child and one community at a time. We encourage everyone to bring the whole family out for a fun filled day at Robin Roberts Stadium!”

‘Shoes Chief Storyteller Jamie Toole is elated to continue a partnership with the Springfield based organization.

“Our goal from day one was to get involved and build a relationship with the local community, and having the continued support from the Kiwanis Club of Springfield-Downtown is something we take pride in. We’re excited to host this inaugural event, and encourage folks to come out and enjoy a nice fall day at Robin Roberts Stadium on October 15th.”

All patrons who purchase a beer-tasting experience ticket will receive admission to the event, a Lucky Horseshoes beer bat, a 16-oz can of Lucky Lager, and access to the beer tasting event which already includes breweries such as Buzzbomb, Anvil & Forge, Springfield Beer Company, and more!
