The Springfield Lucky Horseshoes are looking forward to hosting actor Chauncey Leopardi, who portrayed the legendary character Michael ‘Squints’ Palledorous in the cult-classic movie The Sandlot, in Springfield on Sunday, July 14th.

Fans will have the opportunity to meet and interact with Squints in a special, exclusive pre-game meet-and-greet session, and Leopardi will be at Robin Roberts Stadium throughout the game that night.

Chief Storyteller Jamie Toole said he couldn’t pass up the opportunity of hosting the iconic actor.

“Having the opportunity to bring a recognizable name such as Chauncey Leopardi “Squints” to Springfield was a no-brainer. We’re excited to reminisce, share stories, and get a little inside knowledge on The Sandlot and of Chauncey’s famed character when he visits the ‘Shoes on July 14th!”

Throughout the game, there will be Sandlot related clips and fun, in-game entertainment.

A Package that includes both a ticket to that night’s game and an exclusive meet-and-greet with Leopardi, who will sign autographs and take photos, are available while supplies last at Tickets.ShoesBaseball.Com at a cost of $35.
